Wenger-He is still god,get that?

After the recent results,a lot of blame has been put on the gaffer. It is really admirable of him to take the heat and let the players do their thing. For those of you who are pointing fingers, just take a sec and think,as a club we spend as less as some of the bottom placed ones and look at where we stand. We are in second place,we still have a chance to win the league,on top of that we are unbeaten since December.
For all the haters!!

Have some patience you asses. All of you shouting 'Out with Wenger',find me a replacement who will continue to help the club be self sustaining and go for all trophies at the same time.Wenger has managed to change the 'Boring boring Arsenal' tag, singlehandedly created the exciting football we play today, and established the club as a consistent trophy fighter without having to spend big money.

Maybe Wenger did make some mistakes. He or the board may have sold off too many first team members during the 2004-2006 period. This put a lot of youngsters in to the forefront.Maybe they were not ready for it then.A normal football team would be the perfect balance between youth and experience. With the experience gone, the youth had to cope with all the new responsibilities with nobody to guide them.Have a read at this article. They have written pretty darn well as to why we have been lacking trophies these past few years.

There will be nobody better than him.Everyone who has been supporting this club long enough will accept that fact. The team is not up-to the "Invincible" standard, that is what seems to be the problem nowadays.Everybody need to get this fact into their mind "This is not the same team!!!Well yea one of our teams from the past went through a whole season unbeaten, that was great, now get the fuck over it and live in the present.Enough with all the 'The invincibles were that, the invincibles were this'. Yea they were great, now lets start supporting the current squad. How about we do that a bit now ehhh??

Wenger is God
Wenger has been described as a coach who "has spent his career building teams that combine the accumulation of silverware with a desire to entertain and attack", and as "A purist, dedicated to individual and collective technical quality."His approach to the game has been an emphasis on attack. All his teams have played football 'the way it has to be played.'

The man has won FA manager of the year 3 times,French Manager of the year, twice,Manager of the decade, once and is an English Football Hall of Fame member. So maybe he may not know everything, but sure as hell knows more than anybody out there who dare question him.He ain't called the 'Professor' for nothing.

Wenger has been criticized a lot for not spending as much as he could have, but dont you think that would have hampered the development of our younger players??Also with the financial fairplay rules coming up,clubs like Man Utd,Chelsea,Man City and even Liverpool who are in a tonne of debt are gonna find life in the premier league different. So for now why dont we.for a change, just enjoy the beautiful game?

I will leave you all with a video to remind you all for the days to come, that 'Wenger is GOD!!!!'.To download the song in the background, you just go here. You can follow Goonerburgh on Twitter or Facebook.

Have a good day folks!

  2. - "A normal football team would be the perfect balance between youth and experience. "
-"continue to help the club be self sustaining and go for all trophies at the same time"

questioning any manager is normal with the lack of trophies, and in our case that has not started until this year, we have the faith with or without the trophies and everyone has witnessed that in us the Gooners over the past 6 years.

now looking at the first quote, as u said a normal balance between youth and experience and having the youngsters short of achieving anything w/ the experienced lot.. I am sure Wenger had spot that, but the question is why see the team struggle and stay in denial that they will do well .. 1,2,3,4,5,6, years and running .. after this season, where it was clear that lack of experience, aspiration, leadership cost us dearly.. the match at st.james rings a bell ?! he could still well be leading with his policy, buying a new GK and a striker that bags 20+ per season isn't breaking his policy if hes still playing around young players is it ?

Do you not agree that our team does not have a "number 9" a finisher ?? ok van persie is a striker but hes not the one who scores 20+ and let the team do the rest .. after his injury he came back like a beast but as more games being played he had struggled cuz he does not have a striking partner with him .. when u play against blackburn at home , and let ALL ur forwards take a shot in the game , yet they all fail to find the net .. this should worry us !
we need to start thinking and waking up.. u said it , wer a team that competes for all trophies , and frankly mate this means we have stopped winning them.. our ambition was never and will never be "only competing" WE SHUD STOP SAYING "OH AT LEAST WER COMPETING" its nt gd enuff .. this shows that this current needs a little push and we will reign again i hope..

The gaffer knows better , but questioning some1 is never wrong to do , it just shows the concern we all have as Arsenal fans! I would like to ask you to rethink that everything the gaffer is doing is perfect, it dsnt help if we r in denial..

and about the invincible team mate.. we will NEVER get over that, thats just the consequence of setting a high standard and not keeping up with it. so live with it, whether u like it or not. its arguably the greatest memory any gooner wud love to re-live.

  4. i like your points, coming to van persie and the need of another striker,in our current formation,we only need one off and off striker,RVP is a great finisher and i dont need to prove that,he has been prone to injuries, but Chamakh really stepped up and did the job in the beginning of the season,he may have burned out to the second half of the season, but he did his job,

about the lack of leadership part, like i said he/the board did make a mistake in selling too many first team seniors during that period and our youngsters had to cope, but they are learning and right now we have 6 international captains in our squad, they will still improve.

i never said questioning him was wrong,i was talking to the ppl who were insulting him and were going around with all the 'out wenger' slogans.

den the invincible era,yes i am proud of it,but it is not fair of us to pressure every squad into repeating that feat.all we can hope is that they give their best shot......
